BOOK DISCUSSION GROUPS 2010

The Evening Book Discussion Group will meet at the Library at 7:30PM on the following third Mondays of the month (September through June). The group does not meet in December, January, February or March.

Limited copies of each of the books to be discussed will be available at the Library's Circulation Desk during the month prior to the meetings.

LIBRARY RESOURCES

The Baldwin Library has a collection of over 100,000 books. The Online Catalog offers you keyword, author, title and subject access to our collection as well as to the collections of other Nassau Library System members. Instruction in using the catalog is available from the Library staff at the Reference Desk.

The Library gives you access to many periodicals. You can find out which ones we subscribe to by consulting the Baldwin Public Library Periodicals Guide at the Reference Desk. The Library subscribes to several computerized periodical databases such as ProQuest and Gale/InfoTrac.

Other library resources include dvds, videotapes (including family, how-to, classics and recent releases), video games and compact discs.

There are personal computers available for Nassau County library cardholders and residents of New York State. Users must sign in in the Computer Room.
