If you're looking for work, don't go it alone. Job searching can be much easier with support and encouragement. A Job Club helps you connect with other job hunters in your area and provides an opportunity for you to share information, get advice, and network.



What is a job club?

Job clubs are small groups of people who meet regularly to talk candidly about job searching and career advancement with the goal of supporting the success of all members. Each Job Club is facilitated by a professional career counselor in partnership with HempsteadWorks and The Workforce Partnership. To support your success, they provide the basic tools to get you started and keep you motivated along the way.

Sponsored by the Nassau Library System and supported by federal LSTA (Library Services and Technology Act) grant funds awarded to NLS by the New York State Library. The Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services allocates LSTA funding to states.
